ITEC Appoints Warren Walker as Chief Technical Architect

15th July 2019 - Bristol-based technology managed services provider ITEC has appointed former Orange Business Services’ Cloud Consultant Warren Walker as Chief Technical Architect to deliver multi-cloud designs and implementations to new and existing customers.

Warren has joined the company to provide leadership in IT Infrastructure Pre Sales. He will focus on collaborating on pre-sales pipeline for new customers, and creating technical responses for proposals, presentations and collaborative customer workshops.

Warren is an experienced Lead Solution Architect, having previously worked with multinational corporations including SERCO, Fujitsu, Cable & Wireless, and more recently as Senior Technical Pre-Sales Solution Architect and Cloud Consultant for Orange Business Services working in the International Business channel.

Nick Orme, CEO at ITEC: “Warren’s appointment is a clear demonstration to our clients of our commitment to recruit the very best technical minds in the UK.  He is highly regarded in the industry, both nationally and internationally.  We are delighted that he has chosen ITEC for the next stage of his career and he shares our vision of how technology should be designed, deployed and supported. Warren will play a central role in expanding our technical capacity and competencies, devising forward-thinking and highly adaptable technology solutions for our customers. He will be a great asset to the team.”

ITEC is one of the UK’s leading technology managed service providers. The company works with thousands of businesses, schools and organisations across the UK to push the boundaries and deliver cutting-edge technology solutions. Warren’s appointment is part of ITEC’s strategic growth plan and move to full-scale technology managed services, which has seen the company grow from £3m turnover in 2010 to £50m in 2019.

Warren is equally delighted with the opportunity ITEC provides. He said, “I’m thrilled to become a part of ITEC and the great team who strive to deliver a customer focused, outcome driven approach in applying technology to solve business problems. The evolving cloud landscape is a key part of ITEC’s future and we intend for our customers to benefit from not only our expertise in the cloud, but also our expertise in delivering complete office solutions and connectivity. These areas are all fundamental in delivering holistic solutions and exceptional service that enable customers to focus on their core business.”

"Warrens appointment is a clear demonstration to our clients of our commitment to recruit the very best technical minds in the UK."
