A Volvo retailer in Poole is searching for classic cars, to help raise money for a local charity.
Volvo Cars Poole on Ringwood Road is looking for owners of 80s and 90s Volvos to bring their cars to a special ‘Throwback Thursday’ event on 11 April.
The event will feature a range of classic cars, including the Volvo 360GLT, which was manufactured in 1983, and the Volvo 740 TURBO Intercooler Estate F-reg, manufactured in 1989.
The team at Volvo Cars Poole is looking to add more classic cars to their line-up and are reaching out to owners of 80s or 90s Volvo cars.
The event will raise money for Dorset Cancer Care Foundation, a charity that helps local people and families who are affected by cancer.
James Litton, General Manager and Director at Volvo Cars Poole, said: “We are really excited to be hosting this ‘Throwback Thursday’ event, as we will be showcasing classic cars, many which went out of production over 30 years ago!
“We are reaching out to the public as we would like to see even more 80s and 90s cars at the event, and want to raise as much money for the Dorset Cancer Care Foundation as possible.
“We encourage classic car owners get in touch with our team, and look forward to making this the best event we have hosted to date!”
