Truro-based Bloody Mary Metal has seen increased sales since it began working with Redruth-based image creation specialist, Figolux, in conjunction with the launch of its new website.
Specialising in innovative 360-degree spin and high-resolution product photography, Figolux was approached by the company about capturing the essence of its unique creations and bringing them to life for customers on-screen after they were introduced by a mutual friend.
“We used to manage all of the product photography in-house just using our iPhones!” said Christine Mlynski, manager and creator at Bloody Mary Metal.
“When we launched our new website last year however, we wanted the photography to be as crisp and as professional looking as the new site, so we started looking for photographers.
“To help us showcase our products in the best light, Figolux has produced 360-degree imagery for us to integrate into our site, so that customers can see every detail from every angle. Each of our pieces are handmade to order and completely unique, so we wanted the photography to show every facet and every idiosyncrasy so customers can see exactly what they are buying.
“Since we launched the site, we have seen an increase in sales and a lower number of customer enquiries about specific product details, because people can see for themselves the dimensions and the quality of the products before they place an order. None of our images are edited, the jewellery is exactly as the customer sees it online.”
Boasting a wide range of photography experience in the UK and overseas commercial and retail markets with clients such as Tom Raffield and Finisterre, Figolux has quickly made a name for itself as one of the UK’s go-to product photographers.
Operating from a purpose-built studio in Redruth, Figolux has invested over £250,000 in the latest high-tech photography equipment, cameras and lighting to ensure continuously high-quality results for clients.
