Catherine Marshall has joined Elan’s Bristol-based Southern region from Bellway where she was sales and marketing manager. Her wide-ranging experience in the housebuilding industry over 20 years also includes senior sales and marketing positions at Linden Homes and Persimmon Homes.
Catherine will have responsibility for overall sales performance on Elan’s existing developments in North Devon and Somerset, formulating sales and marketing strategies for new developments, managing media activity and overseeing a team of sales executives.
Her role will also involve partnering with other departments in the business, including working closely with the land acquisition team, to expand Elan’s footprint across the South West.
Catherine joins Elan at a pivotal time for the housebuilder, with two brand new sites set to be unveiled this year, in Somerton and Castle Cary, to add to the portfolio of existing developments in South Molton and Bruton.
Catherine said: “Elan has developed a strong reputation across the Southern region for creating new communities in desirable locations, and homes which stand the test of time.
“I look forward to contributing to the continued growth of the business as we look to bring forward new developments in prime locations primarily along the M5 corridor.”
Elan is helping to create a new community at The Gateway in South Molton, featuring 150 two, three and four-bedroom homes, some of which enjoy stunning views across the open fields towards Exmoor
Steinbeck Walk in Bruton, meanwhile, is a smaller, private development of just eight four-bedroom detached homes and one two-bedroom coach house, on the outskirts of historic Bruton in Somerset.
Privately-owned Elan Homes has built a solid reputation as a quality builder in the region with successfully completed ventures across Worcestershire, Somerset, Gloucestershire and the Bristol city region.
